So anyway you look at it the Buyer pays the Commission. Why would the Buyer agree to pay the commission? The commission is a TAX deductable closing cost. Whoever pays the commission can deduct that expense on that years tax return along with all of their other Closing Expenses. See Closing Expense for a detailed list of deductions for Buyer and Seller. Tall Tree Realty can represent you as a Sellers Broker, List your property with the understanding that the Buyer pays the Selling Commission; give your property more exposure, as in Tall Tree Realty Web Site, real estate publications, internet etc. You can still advertise if you so desire. This is Oklahoma's Birthday We are 100 years old this year.
For those who are new to Oklahoma or not from here or have never been here and for those who have the "Grapes of Wrath" stereo type image of us; please do pay a visit to Tall Tree's Centennial pages; here you will find the results of a wild Country, first settled by displaced American Indians and Outlaws.
You will see that Oklahoma has produced Famous people in every walk of life and in some instances more than other states. We were the first to start a Boy Scout troupe in the US; the first Girl Scout Cookies were sold in Oklahoma, Several news anchors are from Oklahoma, astronauts and the list goes on and on. We have World Class Museums, The Cowboy Hall Of Fame and more acre feet of water in our lakes than Minnesota and an inland port in Tulsa which is a gate way to the Gulf via The Arkansas and Mississippi Rivers .
